My Project
Our school needs construction paper and copy paper of all colors for Multicultural projects. We have had a large increase of children of all ethnicities this year. Therefore, we need construction paper to include assignments to include cultural and geographical likeness and awareness in our lessons.
Lessons from reading, math, music and other subjects are sometimes difficult for students that are just learning English.
By incorporating various cultures, students will feel included and relate more to the lessons and classmates.
At the end of the year, we have a multicultural "store", in which they spend their money they have earned for good behavior and work ethic. Students create their advertisements, products and displays with classmates. They are encouraged to do products of other countries for awareness and education. This paper will help tremendously.
