Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 4th-grade students will benefit from having color copies of tools and resources that will pique their interest and help them build their skills to become stronger readers, writers, and mathematicians.
I plan on using the color printer to print short texts with pictures and other resources to support my students' learning in all subject areas.
The special education students and English Language Learners in my class benefit from having things in color to enhance their focus, especially in reading. Most of my students are diagnosed with learning disabilities or are English Language Learners who use pictures to support them as learners. Having images in color will significantly help them on a daily basis.
