My Students

Our students are eager to learn and hard workers. They come from a variety of backgrounds and cultures and are thrilled to offer details about themselves, their ideas, and their experiences. This group of students has not had easy lives. Theirs is not a wealthy community. However, these 4th and 5th graders are rich in personality and enthusiasm!

When it comes time to share, there is no end to the hands waving in the air wanting to communicate thoughts and connect with our classroom community.

Their likes and dislikes, their goals and dreams...this is a group of students who wonder and participate! Every day, their inquisitive attitudes tell me that they think that the world is an interesting place, filled with ideas and things that they are eager to share and explore.

My Project

Our school has very limited resources. The fourth and fifth graders deserve to see their projects in color! Color printers would allow our teaching team to provide many more learning opportunities for students through scanning, copying, and printing resources and portfolio projects for students.

Vocabulary cards, student published written pieces, and reading resources would all be readily available for our teachers and students with these color printers.

In addition, the wireless mics would make participating in class meetings remotely much easier for students as we begin to combine both in class and on line learning meetings! These resources would support learning and teaching for the entire elementary upper grade team.
