This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our classroom library has outgrown its old bins. As new books are acquired the old, raggedy bins just won't do any more. We need new book bins! As educators, we know that organization in the classroom is crucial! These color coded book bins will keep the library organized for all my students. Assigning a specific color for different genres will help my students find the books they want to read.
My goal is to provide an accessible, well-structured classroom library that will support my students in finding books to read.
The book bins will be organized by genres, authors, topics, series, and much more. This will help my students independently find their books all while growing their love for reading.
