My students need 25 books about college, applying for college and life planning.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Will's classroom raised $538
This project is fully funded
I teach 10th grade World Literature in a West Side Chicago high school. My school is a college-prep high school and my students chose to enroll here because they are interested in college.
Unfortunately, although most of my students are interested in attending college, many of them do not have many close relatives or friends who have attended college. This puts them at a disadvantage when it comes to visiting campuses, researching majors, and filling out applications.
The collection of college guide books I have requested will unlock some of the "secrets" to applying for college for my students. Having a collection of books that contain such valuable information will help them access a world of knowledge that is not currently readily available to them.
Your donation will make college research possible for my students. Many of them don't have the opportunity to visit five or six potential colleges to help them decide where to apply. These college guide books will help them start thinking about the process.
