My Students

Do you know the ACT requirements of your local college or university? Were you prepared for the ACT or SAT test the first time you took the test or did you ever take such an exam?

While my students dream of college in their future, the majority of them do not know anything about the ACT or SAT test.

The state of Michigan includes the ACT test as part of the Michigan Merit Examination, the official state tests, but students in the eleventh grade do not understand the importance of this test until senior year. As seniors they scramble to find ACT test materials to prepare for retaking the test to achieve the score needed to get into their college choice. The juniors just take the test and do not seek additional prep materials until their senior year. Most Freshman and Sophomores have never even heard of the ACT test.

My Project

Students need resources as early as possible. The earlier the students prepare, the better their chances to score higher and achieve the score needed for the college of their choice. With multiple copies, they can create study groups and help one another achieve their goals. As an educator using the same resources allows me to help students in a timely fashion.

With today's economy, we want to see as many students as possible reach their dreams of being college educated.

The first step to achieving this dream is to score high on the ACT test to have a brighter future.
