I teach in a high needs, Title 1 new high school in New York. This AP Environmental Science course will be the second AP course offered in our school.

The science department is working to provide our science enthusiastic students with a chance to not only explore their interest in science but also to have the opportunity to earn college credits in their senior year of high school.

The AP exams are not easy exams. They are college level tests and in order for our students to be fully prepared to take and pass these exams with high scores, quality instruction needs to be in place. I have been a science teacher for four years. I am excited to lead this AP course. In order to be successful the first year I teach this course, I am requesting lesson plans that I will use as a guide. Normally it takes 2-3 years or even longer to really perfect lessons. Having a set of lessons will allow me to move forward with my planning and I will be able to revise the lessons rather than constantly creating new ones.

Your help will ensure that my students will have a quality and exciting course that will fully prepare them for the rigorous AP exam.
