This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a college & career center that is a space for students to apply to colleges, explore careers, and work on scholarships. This space is designed to be stress-free for them as these things can be very stressful for them. We like to stock the room with snacks and fidget toys. Many of our students do not have the ability or time to work on these things at home and often need assistance. We would like to make this room a welcoming space that not only helps our students achieve their goals but be somewhere they feel welcome and safe and stress free.

And they love snacking while applying to colleges!!
