Help me give my students a laminator to help make creations and activities reusable from year to year and keep artwork reusable from year to year as well!
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Bidner's classroom raised $179
This project is fully funded
Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This project will provide the classroom with a laminator and the laminate sheets as well as a level to help make everything look perfect when hung up. It will also make it convenient to have activities transformed into reusable sheets.
Lamination makes everything more eco-friendly, efficient, germ resistant (laminated items can be wiped down), water proof, and cost effective.
These tools play a vital role in creating an inclusive & engaging learning environment for my equity focus students by enhancing communication, aiding in organization, and promoting multisensory learning.
Decorations also provide a colorful, welcoming, inclusive environment that engage learners of all kinds. These materials will help beautiful the halls as well as the hallways.
As a teacher in a low-income school district, I want to provide all I can for my students to have the most memorable educational experience. Our students come from very diverse backgrounds. We have over 1000 students in our school. Over 80% of them are receiving free or reduced-price lunches daily. Over half of the student body is Latino and we have an extremely large ESL population. Over 35% of my students are classified as special needs. The students who attend my school are hard-working. Even though most of our students come from economically deprived households, this does not stop them from giving their best in my classroom.
My students are such hard workers and caring children. I am lucky to be their teacher. Even though they do not have much, they have big hearts and an amazing work ethic! They want to learn more so they can give back more. I want to help them do that. These materials will go a long way in making the class more functional, eco-friendly, colorful, cost-effective & germ resistant. Thank you for supporting our classroom and public education.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
