Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom has utilized tables for the past several years. However, from the beginning, we used leftover, disregarded furniture with wobbly legs and holes. Even with these challenges, the positives outweigh the negatives, allowing students to interact and work together.

Having tables instead of desks allows us to create a more collaborative learning environment for the students.

This assists with project-based learning, small group instruction, and the overall classroom environment.

Having students spend their days in collaborative groups makes the school day more enjoyable and the learning experiences more authentic.
