My Project

Whiteboards with four different colored Expo Markers are essential for vertical boarding, a teaching strategy that involves students working on problems or tasks in a vertical, visible space. Vertical boards enhance the learning experience by promoting visibility, engagement, collaboration, and flexibility, ultimately supporting deeper understanding and problem-solving skills.

Vertical whiteboards and Expo Markers make students' work visible to the entire class, facilitating real-time feedback and collaborative learning.

The four different colored Expo Markers allow teachers and peers to see the work easily, allowing immediate input and correction.

Collaboration: Vertical boarding promotes group work and discussion. Students can easily share their thought processes and strategies with their peers, fostering a collaborative learning environment. Each student will be assigned one of the four colors to use while they are the scribe.

Engagement: Working on vertical surfaces encourages active participation and engagement. Students are more likely to stand, move, and interact with their peers, which can lead to increased motivation and focus. By assigning each student a different color marker, it becomes clear that everyone in the group is actively participating.

Flexibility: Whiteboards with Expo Markers allow for easy modification and adjustment of work. Mistakes can be quickly corrected, encouraging a growth mindset where trial and error are integral to learning.

Spatial Awareness: The vertical format enables students to organize their work spatially, facilitating their understanding of complex problems and identifying connections between different parts of their work. The various color Expo Markers assist students in keeping their group work organized.

Teacher Access: Teachers can quickly scan the room to assess student progress and understanding, allowing for timely intervention and support where needed. The four colored Expo Markers help the teacher easily identify which student needs to be the scribe in each group.
