Collaborative Tables for the Win!

Help me give my students collaborative tables to work at during instructional time.

My Project

During COVID-19 the students were unable to work in collaborative groups to minimize contact. They were separated by plexiglass shields and isolated. We can now rectify this inability to connect by providing collaborative tables.

Seating students at tables rather than desks lined in rows allows for collaboration to take place among the students.

This tool can be helpful for student understanding, as a formative assessment tool, and a way to teach my students pro-social skills.

This will also help me monitor learning expectations for the rest of the class when I am working with a small group. Having tables will provide a dedicated learning space where my students can focus as they work together.
