Help me give my students Collaborative Mural projects.
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. P.'s classroom raised $155
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are Native Speakers of Spanish. Some are born here as first generation students and others come from around the world. I have had students from Venezuela, Colombia, Spain, Ecuador, Peru, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Cuba, Nicaragua, Mexico...almost every Spanish speaking country. Some students also come from Dual Language classes and Spanish is not their first language and their parents do not speak Spanish.
They are rich in culture and experiences.
They are willing to share and help one another be successful in this country.
My Project
Students will make collaborative murals. Students will first color the squares to create a mural which is a mystery. Students will then put together the coloring sheets like a puzzle or a quilt working together to create a group project. Then students will discover who they created. They will learn about a Hispanic Artist or a Hispanic civil rights leader. These projects are found on Teachers pay teachers and that is why this project is for a Teachers pay teachers gift card. They will then research the Hispanic Artist or the Hispanic civil rights leader and present to the class.
There is a lot of differentiation in this project;
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
