My Project

This project will help my students move from desk to collaborative learning through group tables.

My brilliant first graders in my Title I school will be eager to learn in a classroom that is set up and easy for them to work together as a shared community. They have worked so hard this year being Kindergartners to learn how to write and spell their name to writing CVC words and reading books. These little wonders have even really rocked the numbers and mathematical fluency. I am ready to continue with the growth of these little brilliant students with the help of cooperative learning tables.

These tables will inspire my students to collaborate, promote 21st-century learning skills, and make my classroom much easier to maneuver for myself and my students. It will also offer my students the opportunity to choose different seating areas because of flexible seating. This is a large project, but I’m hoping to get it funded so my students can start off the year with a classroom that is set up to the best standards of learning possible!!
