This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I service a small neighborhood public school of about 250 students and our district's budget is not at all sufficient. Unfortunately our arts budget is split between myself and the music teacher which means our students get even less from both of us. These particular art items are just enough of what I'd need to be able to provide the much needed supplies for my kindergarten through eighth grade students.
With your help I can expand on what's possible in our art classes and not be limited with our expression.
Last year I was able to fundraise for a significant amount of needed materials just to cover the basics. This year I need just a little bit more to make it a solid supply that can be used across grade levels and in varying projects so that this year we're stretching the creative minds just a little bit further.
