Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In a collaborative classroom, we require materials that can meet the needs of all students. My classroom is made up of typical and neurotypical students. Oftentimes, the students in my classroom require materials such as sensory tools, to help keep their little hands busy or to meet their sensory needs. Young children who are learning to properly hold writing instruments require dot markers while they master their pincer grasp. The magnetic letter boards will help all of my students practice their letter recognition along with strengthening their writing skills. The hazard blankets are a school requirement, for students' emergency kits.
I always prioritize starting the new school year with new materials such as crayons, markers, cardstock paper, to help plan and create fun lessons and activities throughout the school year.
