My Students

My students are a unique and diverse crew. They seek out new learning opportunities and ways to connect with one another in this NEW virtual learning environment. My school is centered around collaboration and teamwork and the students thrive in this setting.

My Project

With the pandemic limiting face-to face time with students and families, I am looking to make the best of a challenging situation. In searching for the a way to bridge the gap between the classroom and home, the latest video conferencing tools are our solution. I want all learners to feel included no matter their physical location.

The OWL Pro conferencing device allow students to collaborate and continue the teamwork methodology.

I also value project-based and hands-on learning. With this conferencing device students will be able to collaborate on science labs, debates, group projects, peer-editing and more. The OWL Pro software brings together the feel of face-to-face conferencing when really collaborators are in separate spaces. The camera integrated in the OWL pro has the capability to focus on one location for demonstration purposes.

My project supports 5th and 6th graders in my school and will be used across all subjects and also can support our virtual choice hours.
