Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The materials, furniture and seating, that I am requesting will help students build conversation and collaboration skills in the classroom. In the past year and a half students have not had the opportunities to develop deep and enriching conversation and collaboration that builds so many life-long skills. The white board table and stools will provide a designated space for students to share in not only academic collaboration, but social/emotional conversation.
Having a table with flexible seating will provide a place for students to build their skills academically and socially through peer interaction, something they have missed during pandemic time.
Students enjoy and grow through time together where they can learn from each other. Having this area will support their growth both academically and socially.
