Collaboration Safety

Help me give my students a way to be able to collaborate and discuss projects, through the sneeze guards that will help protect them and that will be follow COVID safety protocols.

My Students

My students are from a low socio-economic area with backgrounds in many different cultures. They have great ideas and especially good loving hearts. The are compassionate and caring for their families and community. Because of the Pandemic, they have been longing for personal contact and to be able to talk to others about their lives.

Coming back to school, face-to-face, we are still unable to do things that I would normally do in a science class, for example, experiments, and group projects.

I am trying to find a way where students can still collaborate with each other to work and brainstorm their ideas, and have them be able to think critically and follow all the COVID rules and social distance while in class, but also to make it a meaningful experience.

My Project

These products will help students to engage in project base learning, where students need to communicate verbally, written, and artistically, but with out the sneeze guards, they won't be able to face each other because they are unable to get 6 ft away, due to the size of the classroom. The plastic dry erase pages, will let the students to communicate their thoughts with the paper inside the dry erase sleeve and use of the dry erase markers and erasers.

These will be essential when they talk about reading, reading aloud to each other, using annotation skills, and they will be able to take a picture of the assignment and put into their digital notebook for class and be able to share it with other students and teacher.

Each student will get their own dry erase sleeve, eraser, and 3 different colored markers. The sneeze guards will allow them to be able to face each other safely and collaborate.
