Help me give my students the ability to share ideas and be creative when engaging with texts. We use post its in class daily, and the giant ones are most helpful in sharing our ideas!
Thank you for reviewing our project! In our classroom, four English classes and one Film class, we use post its daily to take notes and share ideas. While digital presentations are helpful, I've found that having students share on the spot, using the large post its is a great way for them to immediately interact with their peers and the texts we cover in class.
When it's large and posted on the wall, you can't deny it!
Using large post its helps students visualize ideas, gather evidence, and consider new ideas in the moment of our discussion or project. It also helps our students who are less confident in speaking in class have a way to share their ideas without adding any anxiety to vocalizing their ideas.
