it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My students are amazing, excited 4th graders ready to take on a new challenge.
Our students are anxious to get started in the world of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) education. I envision my young engineers creating, researching and sharing whatever they can imagine. They need materials to create, research and experiment. We currently don't have a lot of these materials on hand.
Our cooperative classroom environment school serves 365 students who are 100% in free and reduced lunch, and despite their low economic levels and the fact that most of them come from foster homes, they are eager to take the challenge of competing in real world scenarios. It is for this reason that it is crucial that they have opportunities to participate in collaborative learning experiences where they work together and makes presentations using stem learning.
My Project
Some of my students are hesitant to speak in front of the class, even though they are eager to share their work. How do we help these shy students fully participate in the classroom experience?
A Microsoft tablet, paired with a much needed Gopro touch screen bacpac, will allow students to research, video record and display their work to show their abilities to their classmates via techboard. Even students who are hesitant to speak to a large group are eager to share their digital projects created with the Microsoft tablet for researching, graphing, organizing data and a Gopro touch screen bacpac that will make our class gopro easier to use as they record, and take pictures of their STEM work in action. The most introverted student can even share his or her work right from the desk, thanks to the Microsoft tablet, which wirelessly connects to the classroom techboard.
Donations to this project will serve a variety of students with many different needs.
The Microsoft table and Gopro touch screen bacpac will be the perfect gift to help students improve their technology skills while working on projects in math, writing, and science. Help these students be more engaged, motivated, and focused! Thank you in advance for your charitable donations.
