My Students

My students are hard-working, intelligent, and full of questions! They absolutely love group work! It motivates them to learn from each other and to be a better student! They come to school each day ready to tackle tough assignments while collaborating with each other.

“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.”-Unknown This is our motto for our classroom.

We strive to work together as much as possible! Administration at my school promotes and supports group work to enhance academic and social skills for each child.

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a group of learners that are excited and ready to learn

My Project

We use whiteboards during instruction multiple times a day. Our whiteboards are used to show examples of writing, to show understanding of grammar, to play educational games, and to make notes while reading independently. The whiteboards are a huge hit in my classroom, but they are worn out!!! Plus, they are small! We will use the Post-It dry erase surface sheets to cover the tables where my students work. They will use the dry erase surface sheets to become better writers, better artists, and better learners.

Post-It dry erase surface sheets will give my students their very own white board to record their ideas while reading and to help with their writing skills!

We will use the Post-It chart paper to create anchor charts to hand in our class. Our anchor charts will hold information we can use as a reference throughout the day. Students will create anchor charts to show what they've learned and to retain information taught to them.
