This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love the wonder and the joy of a new little learner. Round tables in my classroom will help promote group activities and collaboration among all children. This setup fosters social skills as students learn to share, communicate, and work together while engaging with learning manipulatives. Children can easily access learning manipulatives from all sides. This accessibility encourages exploration and experimentation, allowing them to manipulate objects freely and develop fine motor skills.
Learning through play is crucial for young children, and having dedicated tables for this purpose makes learning more enjoyable.
Round tables eliminate corners, making the environment safer and more inviting for young learners. These tables can be used for art projects, group games, hands-on learning experiences and caters to different learning styles. Overall, the combination of fun and education helps to foster a love for learning at an early age which is vital for the development of transitional kindergartners.
