This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have created a classroom management system that has been working really well with my students. Students apply for different jobs in the classroom and get paid in tickets. They are able to use these tickets to buy stuff in my classroom store.

I have added to this system to help teach student's financial literacy.

Instead of tickets, I know pay the students in "Cohagan's Cash". Not only do they get paid for their jobs, but they also get paid for good grades and positive behaviors. They learn how to save money, pay fines, and when to spend money on items that they want. My students have loved this concept and are always requesting more items to buy in the shop. The items in this project are for the students to be able to buy in the shop that they have requested!
