My Project

I teach gifted students from eleven different elementary schools in Kanawha County, WV. My students have been begging me to make slime. I did some research and found making slime:

Introduces Basic Chemistry: Making slime involves mixing ingredients that react chemically, providing a hands-on introduction to basic scientific concepts like cause and effect.

The act of making and playing with slime can improve focus and concentration, as students are engaged in a specific task and must pay attention to the process.Students can learn about cause and effect as they experiment with different ingredients and techniques to achieve the desired slime consistency. My students are going to be thrilled when they hear the good news, we are going to be making slime.

Thank you for reading my project.
