Coffee With The Teacher!

Help me give my students supplies for a coffee bar to build classroom community.

My Project

I am continually looking for ways to build community in my classroom. Students enjoy meeting with classmates and teachers in small group settings. Having "coffee time" with a small group of students will allow me to get to know my students better and they will get to know each other better as well.

Morning "coffee" with the teacher will start the day in a calm, positive way.

Having the coffee machine and other supplies like, coffee, hot chocolate, and cider pods, will give my students a way to spend quality time with me and other students. With 26 students, having this time, will allow us to get to know each other more personally. Inviting other adults like our STEM, music, PE, art, and library teachers will allow them to get to know the students better as well. By giving students this dedicated time, they will feel more mature and cared for.
