My Students

Our classrooms include a spunky group of students with a variety of needs and interests. The students are working on developing academic as well as social skills.

The children are working on verbal communication, making eye contact and following multi-step directions as well as developing strong math, reading, and writing abilities.

Our school wide focus is on building strong relationships within our environment. Children are given opportunities to interact in the special education as well as the general education environments. This provides the opportunity for them to benefit from understanding the needs/differences of others.

My Project

Our kiddos will continue to develop their social and communication skills as well building their confidence by interacting with familiar adults in their school environment. Each Monday they will offer school staff the opportunity to have delicious coffee delivered to their door!

The students will be responsible for reading and delivering orders as well as being responsible for all money transactions including collecting money and giving correct change.

This opportunity will help our students more easily connect with all members of their community as well as building on their existing reading, writing and math skills. These experiences will also create a foundation for future career endeavors.
