This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students would like to self-fund their projects without asking for help from their parents or the school. Supplies such as an espresso machine, coffee pods, and mugs allow my students to have real, hands-on experiences dealing in customer service, money management, and job skills.
Individually we are a drop but together, we are an ocean.
Using these activities students maintain, sell and manage money from the sales of the products at school in the morning to teachers and parents for less than the chain coffee stores. The students will use then be able to use the profits after they have figured out expenses to fund their own activities and/or field trips.
