This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is nestled in an artsy neighborhood in the state of California. My students are inquisitive, creative, and full of questions! They have been instilled with a love of learning, and they welcome challenges that push them to think outside the box to find a solution. They enter the classroom ready for whatever challenge awaits them to learn and grow as scholars and individuals.

Each day I invite my students to learn by incorporating various learning strategies and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met.

They are truly an incredible group, and they teach me lessons daily. I am grateful to have a group of learners who are excited to be the best scholars and ready to learn something new each day!

My Project

This project is to purchase Wonder and Dash robots for my students to learn coding basics. My students love to be challenged and with Wonder and Dash Robots they will not only get opportunities to be challenged, they will also learn the essential 21st century skill of coding!

With today's technological advances, students need to understand how coding impacts their lives and the real world.

What better way to learn to code, then by allowing them to use their creativity and explore what makes Wonder and Dash move when correctly programmed.

These coding robots will teach my students to put their new found skills into practice and hopefully inspire them to continue learning to code beyond this year.
