My Project

Are there any kids who don't love playing with Legos? Are there any adults who wouldn't want kids to learn a variety of skills - all while playing and having fun with Legos?

Not only do Legos provide opportunities to develop patience and perseverance, Legos also help with developing problem solving and social skills.

When students are building with Legos in my third grade classroom, they're working in collaborative groups to build and code a variety of structures. By working in groups, students are developing problem solving and communication skills in addition to learning how to work together.

My classroom is fortunate enough to have some Legos sets that they're able to build and code with. The Lego sets that I am requesting will help students build upon and expand their knowledge of coding while working in small groups of two to three.
