My Project

My students are receiving computer science for the first time this year. I see all K-2 students each week to teach them computer science skills. One part of computer science is learning how to code. Working with K-2 students, it is important for them to learn through unplugged and hands-on activities. Code and Go Mouse Mania, and Robot Turtles are two board games that will help my students learn how to lay out the code/algorithm directions in order to move their piece. These games are a great way to work on problem solving, collaboration, and coding all in one while learning the basics of playing a board game.
