This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are energetic and very curious. They enjoy school and learning using all their senses. They are all learning English as a second language. My students attend school in the inner-city. The school is nestled among railroad tracks and factories. All of my students qualify for federally funded lunches. They have insufficient resources yet are the most generous.

My students are thirsty for knowledge.

They love to feel like scientists. They're fascinated with the life cycle of animals and plants. They are always ready to learn, and despite their short comings they always try their very best.

My Project

Wonder Workshops-Wonder Pack will be used by all second graders to practice writing code that will enable the Wonder to complete a series of commands. This wil be the gateway for students to gain the basics of coding.

Wonder Workshop- Wonder Pack will facilitate learning the language of coding.will facilitate learning the language of coding.

Students will have an opportunity to write code and use it to manipulate Wonder the Robot.

Wonder Workshop- Wonder Pack is the perfect tool to introduce coding to second-grade students. With a Wonder Workshop, Work Pack student will enthusiastically dive into coding. This will enhance students ability to follow directions and create explicit direction.
