This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are creative and inquisitive! They absolutely love engaging projects and challenges that allow them to use their hands to create and solve problems! They are passionate and hunger for new challenges that will offer them more choices in the future.

I want my students to have the opportunity to have strong robotics literacy and the tech skills that will give them a significant advantage when applying for jobs across virtually every industry.

Robotics and coding enhances their understanding and interest, sparking their imaginations and motivating students to grow with hands-on applications while having fun.

My Project

My students need these powerful Micro:bit boards to help them learn to code. These boards offer allow students to build hundreds of projects. The Micro:bits allow for my students to learn and apply several different coding languages.

My students will be able to create projects that will inspire our next generation of scientists.

For me, that means that technology will always be around us, to create things that will help us in our daily lives. This is such an incredibly fascinating field, that I want my students to work in tech and create amazing projects with even more amazing people. Can you imagine that the projects that my will creating now that where not even possible to do 10 years ago because we didn’t have the technology for it? New technologies will continue to be developed in the future, meaning that we’ll soon be doing more exciting projects that we haven’t thought of, seen or heard about yet!
