My Project

In our gifted middle school classroom nestled in the hills of West Virginia, we're on a mission to inspire the next generation of innovators. Our students are bright, curious, and eager to explore the cutting-edge world of robotics and coding. However, we lack the tools to turn their enthusiasm into hands-on learning experiences.

Enter the Sphero Mini and Sphero Spark+: these incredible robotic balls are more than just toys – they're gateways to understanding programming, physics, and creative problem-solving.

With your help, we can bring these amazing devices into our classroom and watch our students' eyes light up as they code their own games and programs.

Imagine the excitement as students use block-based coding to navigate mazes, create interactive stories, or design their own unique games. The Spheros will allow us to integrate STEM concepts into various subjects, from math (calculating angles and velocity) to language arts (coding interactive storytelling).

For our gifted learners, these tools offer the perfect blend of challenge and engagement. They'll learn to think logically, debug problems, and collaborate on projects – all while having fun! The skills they develop with Spheros will lay a strong foundation for future careers in technology, engineering, and beyond.
