My Project

Dash Robots and Cubelets provide engaging, hands-on learning that supports diverse needs and learning styles. Here’s how these tools benefit all the different types of students in my classroom each year:

Affluent Students

While these students may have technology at home, Dash Robots and Cubelets offer structured, collaborative experiences beyond screen time. They encourage critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving, fostering leadership and innovation.

Low-Income Students

For those with limited STEM access outside school, these tools level the playing field, sparking curiosity, building confidence, and introducing technology-driven careers.

English Language Learners (ELLs)

Coding and robotics transcend language barriers, allowing ELL students to engage through visual programming. Collaborating on coding challenges strengthens communication, teamwork, and vocabulary in a supportive way.

Special Education Students

With multisensory, interactive learning, Dash Robots and Cubelets help students engage with concepts concretely. They promote independence, patience, and problem-solving at an individualized pace in a fun, rewarding environment.

My goal is for students to develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on exploration with Dash Robots and Cubelets. By engaging in coding and robotics, they will strengthen teamwork, perseverance, and technological literacy, preparing them for future STEM opportunities while fostering a lifelong love of learning and innovation in an interactive, supportive environment.

My students are an incredible group of diverse, curious, and eager learners who bring unique perspectives and talents to the classroom. Despite challenges they may face, they approach learning with determination, creativity, and positivity. They embrace new experiences and thrive when given opportunities to explore and grow. Their resilience, enthusiasm, and love for discovery make every day in our classroom inspiring and full of possibility.
