My Students

Students at our school are energetic, excited, fun risk-takers that love to learn. We have begun our journey together for the year and the students have created many projects. The students in my class are helpful, caring, and respectful individuals who enjoy learning.

Our school has over 500 students and meets the needs of all learners.

The staff is dedicated to making our school the best possible place for our kids. The kids and families understand the value of their education and they love coming to school to learn.

My Project

Coding is a fun way to learn. With the SPRK+ and Specdrums students will be able to learn how to implement these tools with their already created projects. Students will be able to use the Specdrums to make background music to podcasts, and the SPRK+ will be used in a variety of different ways, such as creating stories, creating shapes, and learning about matching time with summarizations.

Coding is an important skill for all learners and creates engagement in the classroom.

This year I have had many students want to show their learning with songs, which is great. By having Specdrums this would not only create more access to music, but will make students have more ownership in their work.
