My Project

My students are intelligent, funny, and energetic. We are an arts-focused 5th-8th grade school with a Language Academy program for English Language Learners.

When combined with collaborative, hands-on STEM activities, my students are more engaged with learning.

Our Language Academy students visit every month. 5th graders visit the library weekly. Learning to follow written and visual directions, collaborate, create, and problem solve as a team are part of our state and district library standards. With this project, my students will be able to apply these skills to create and code robots.
