This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am passionate about my students and their potential to become future innovators. They are curious, hardworking, and eager to learn, despite the challenges they face. Living in El Paso, TX, and attending a Title I school, my students often lack access to advanced educational resources and opportunities. This project aims to bridge that gap and provide them with experiences they would otherwise never have.

The LEGO Education SPIKE Prime sets and SPIKE Prime expansion kits will make a significant difference in my students' learning.

These hands-on tools will allow them to engage in interactive and practical STEM activities, fostering their creativity, problem-solving skills, and teamwork. The RoboCamp subscription will provide structured, step-by-step lesson plans that integrate coding and robotics, making complex concepts accessible and exciting for students.

Our primary goal is to secure the funds needed to purchase two sets of LEGO Education SPIKE Prime and SPIKE Prime expansion kits. These resources will enable us to create a dynamic and engaging robotics program that inspires students to explore STEM fields. By providing these tools, we aim to nurture their interest in technology and engineering, preparing them for future academic and career success.

My students are remarkable because of their resilience and determination. Despite the socioeconomic challenges they face, they come to school every day ready to learn and grow. They have a unique perspective and a strong desire to succeed, which makes them truly special. This project will give them the opportunity to experience the joy of learning through robotics and coding, opening doors to new possibilities and helping them realize their full potential.
