This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are special because they are learning both English and Spanish in the Dual Language program. They are learning conversational language and academics in both languages.

They are eager for knowledge and always looking towards their next achievement.

They work very hard and always strive to do their best. The children are diverse learners and come from different backgrounds and are eager to share about their culture and learn about each other. They appreciate their differences while becoming a classroom community.

My Project

This year I will be bringing computer science into my classroom. My first graders will be getting an unbelievable experience as they begin learning to code! I will be introducing them to various websites and robots!

My students need the neccessary technology to begin coding!

This MacBook Air laptop will ensure that we can capably log into and navigate any website neccessary for our coding instruction and experience.

By donating to my project, you will not only help to improve and increase student access to technology, you will also help them to stay more engaged and increase their academic achievement.
