My Project

CS Ambassadors and Girls Who Code club members are going to hold five-night sessions for girls in grades 4-6 to teach them coding and STEM. This event is to expose the next generation of girls to computer science and STEM. Girls mostly feel intimidated going into these fields. The CS Ambassadors and Girls Who Code feel that being role models to these young girls will help draw them to the field and these classes in high school. The items being requested are so we can make this a free event and give each girl a t-shirt, making them feel like they are part of the club, and a snack at each of the 4 weeks this is running.
