This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are working on their writing skills in literacy stations. In our writing projects, I want to encourage my students to self publish their works and share with the larger community. Developing our writing to present to authentic audiences, gives developing writers a purpose. This creates more engagement in the writing task and offers are amazing writers a space to share their voice.

In my multilingual classroom, I would love to encourage my students to take their writing from ideas to full color creative works.

Having a printer available in the writing station to create posters, books and magazines to share in our classroom library would be amazing! Having this technology available at our fingertips means we can see our writing in action from start to finish.
