This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come together every day to participate in our community space. During community learning, students engage in movement, storytelling, and acting, building and sharing their wonderful ideas. My students deserve a clean and comfortable space to communicate their wonders and actively listen to their peers' thinking. A clean environment demonstrates respect for the act of learning. Providing my students access to a rug and clean space, sends my students a message that their education is valued and taken seriously. It encourages my students to take their own learning seriously as well.
