This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a STEM class to all K-5th grade students in my class. I have lessons that are designed to be completed individually and in groups. Some students need practice in working together and being able to communicate effectively with each other.

Having these tables would be a great addition to help with their collaboration and communication skills.

Some students also need help learning how to take turns with each other. Being able to have tables specifically designed for this reason will greatly improve their motivation to succeed in these skills. Being able to provide various flexible learning tables would be a tremendous help.
