Clothing the Newcomer: Syrian Families Need Warm Clothes

Help me give my students who are new to the country the basic needs so they can be warm and safe in school.

My Project

Many languages are spoken at our school, a PK-8 school in Rochester, NY. I love my work in teaching English to students new to Rochester and our country. It is a privilege and a joy. Since December of 2023, more than 10 families from all over the world have arrived and registered their children in our school. Every day I am delighted to teach and learn from these newcomers.

This project will fund basic needs of our newcomers from Syria.

Three families with multiple children attending our school need our help to provide basic needs and warm clothing for their children, ages 7-12.

Please join me in warmly welcoming and providing basic needs for these students.
