This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting organizational bins to help sort and manage donated clothing and shoes for underserved families at my high school. Many of the students and families in our community face financial hardship and are unable to afford essential items such as clothes and footwear. This lack of access can significantly affect students’ confidence and self-esteem, which in turn impacts their ability to succeed in school.

These bins will allow us to create a more structured and dignified way to store and distribute donations, making it easier for families to access what they need without feeling overwhelmed.

While it can be difficult to ask for help, many of our students and their families show tremendous courage in doing so, always with the goal of creating a better future for their children. With your support, we can make this process more manageable, respectful, and accessible for all.
