Help me give my students some laptops and iPad chargers to do all the things that will make them successful in this 21st century learning environment.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Science is a hands on experience. However, not all supplies are readily or easily available for all school districts to fully supply each science classroom or for all parents to fully supply their scholars with the items they need for learning opportunities. This is where the beauty of technology comes in. Sometimes students may engage on some online hands-on learning. However, many of my students are left with the burden of other responsibilities (working until the next morning, taking care of parents/siblings, etc.), so they may forget to charge their iPad or bring it to school. This happens a lot in my town as many of the student demographic comes from an immigrant background. I have had students come up to me and apologize for not having their iPad charged because they had to go to work from 4:30 p.m. until 5 am to provide for their family and only got 2 hours of sleep. This ultimately leaves them to have to do school work on their phones which makes it another burden in the school as their data does not always work or the text is too small to read. Additionally, it would help avoid the distraction or temptation of wandering into social media apps on their phones. Having an extra set of chargers for the students who remembered to put their iPad in their book bag, but forgot to charge it will still allow them to engage in those hands on activities as the rest of their peers closing the technology gap and make them feel more assured that I am at least prepared for these type of situations instead of putting them behind.
