My Students

My students are creative and eager to learn. Our classroom is full of scholars who love to move around and be involved with the work they are focusing on. There is a wide range of students in the classroom. There are students who are below grade level and at grade level. This allows everyone to work together and challenge one another.

My scholars come from a low background and receive free breakfast and lunch daily.

They work hard every time they enter the school building, which makes them very unique. These scholars are willing to put up a fight and try their best to accomplish anything that comes their way in third grade.

My Project

My scholars are working towards becoming excellent readers and critical thinkers. Being exposed to as many books as possible will allow them to continue to learn and grow by discovering new information and being exposed to a wide variety of vocabulary.

These scholars are working towards their personal goals in reading by practicing as much as they can.

Being in third grade comes with a lot of pride but also worries about the state test. Giving my scholars the opportunity to read at their appropriate level with engaging books will help prepare them for the state testing and their futures.
