Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my project, you will see three essential items.
- Chair storage pockets: The students do not have any desks in 1st grade and work at tables.
Having these will allow students to have their own space for their belongings.
- Storage clipboards for students to be able to move around the classroom and have a space to write on other than their general seating and can join while working from a corner or a rug.
- Labels to help label students belonging at the beginning of the year.
These are to be used at the beginning of the next school year. My hope is to be a homeroom teacher for 1st grade Spanish and getting these items funded as soon as possible will allow me to be fully prepared for the upcoming school year!
