My Project
My class is filled with young children who are full of energy and joy. They love coming to school and outdoor recess is a favorite part of their day! Outdoor play is a crucial part of their development and socialization. The grassy courtyard where my students have recess has only one small outdoor slide.
By adding items such as a climbing dome, stepping stones, hopping balls, a bean bag toss and a bean bag and ring toss game, you will be giving my students the opportunity to develop their balance, gross-motor skills, and creativity as well as explore and meet their sensory needs.
