This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students face physical challenges. They need practice with balancing, climbing and maneuvering through their space!

I teach adapted physical education to first grade through age 22.

This project I am focusing on my youngest 1st-5th graders. They range from falling down often to needing aids such as walkers and wheelchairs to get around. They love coming to PE and want to learn and do as much as they can!

My Project

I am humbly requesting three items, a balance beam, tunnel red tumbling and tunnel tun-l-course, to help with balance and climbing. They can practice and improve their skills but doing interesting and varied course work (using tunnels), climbing on vinyl shapes such as going through the center of a tunnel, they can gain their composure on the balance beam by learning how to walk heal to toe, do a half turn and squatting down.

This project would really make the difference to my students in many "motor" ways!

These kids are entitled to a diverse and challenging PE lessons that will inspire them to do something new and test their bodies in a different way!
